AUCKLAND CENTRAL.

Auckland Central District comprises the existing Auckland Central Electoral District, and also includes that portion of the City of Auckland bounded towards the east by Queen Street, towards the south generally by West Street, Pitt Street, Edwin Street, Montague Street, and Gundry Street, and towards the north-west generally by the Karangahape Road.

AUCKLAND EAST.

Auckland East District comprises the existing Auckland East Electoral District less that portion of the City of Auckland now included in the Auckland Central Electoral District as hereinbefore described, and includes that portion of the Grafton Riding lying to the north of Alexander Street, New North Road, and Brown Street.

GREY LYNN.

Grey Lynn District comprises the existing Grey Lynn Electoral District less that portion of Grafton Riding now included in the Auckland East Electoral District as hereinbefore described, and includes that portion of Mount Eden Borough bounded towards the north by View Road, on the east by the Mount Eden Road, on the south by Valley Road, and on the west by Sherburn Road.

PARNELL.

Parnell District comprises the whole of the Parnell Riding, the Boroughs of Parnell and Newmarket; also that portion of Mount Eden Borough bounded on the west by Mount Eden Road and on the south by Owens Road; also that portion of the Epsom Road District lying to the west generally of Seccombe’s Road, Buckland Road, and Epsom Road, and north of Owens Road; also that portion of One Tree Hill Road District lying to the north of Fountain Street.

MANUKAU.

Manukau District comprises the whole of the Tamaki Riding; the Ellerslie Town District; the Borough of Onehunga; that portion of the One Tree Hill Road District less the portion now included in the Parnell Electoral District hereinbefore described; includes that portion of Epsom Road District bounded towards the north by Owens Road, towards the east by Epsom Road, towards the south by Whau Riding, and towards the west by Mount Eden Borough; also that portion of Mount Eden Borough lying to the east of Mount Eden Road and south of Owens Road; also includes Mount Roskill Road District less that portion lying to the north of Mount Albert Road and now included in Eden Electoral District hereinbefore described; and also includes that portion of Otahuhu Road District lying between the Great South Road and the Tamaki River. This district also includes the following islands: Rakino, Motutapu, Waiheke, Brown’s, Motuihi, Pakatoa, Rotoroa, Ponui, and Pahiki.

FRANKLIN.

Franklin District comprises the whole of the Otahuhu Riding of Manukau County less that portion of the Otahuhu Road District now included in the Manukau Electoral District hereinbefore described; includes also the following ridings in Manukau County—Howick, Papakura, Awitu, Waiuku, and the outlying portion of Maungatawhiri; the following road districts of Manukau County—Mauku, Karaka, Opaheke, Paparata, Pokeno, and Mercer; also that portion of the Pukekohe East Road District lying to the west of the Great South Road and north of the road running through Sections 26, 30, 15, and 12, Blocks XV and XVI, Drury Survey District.

RAGLAN.

Raglan District comprises the Road Districts in Manukau County of Pukekohe West, Maungatawhiri, and that portion of Pukekohe East Road District lying to the south of the road running through Sections 26, 30, 15, and 12, Blocks XV and XVI, Drury Survey District; the whole of Raglan County with the exception of the Pirongia Riding of that county; the Kirikiriroa, Tamahere, and Cambridge Ridings of Waikato County; that portion of Newcastle Riding lying to the north of the coach-road from Whatawhata to Hamilton. The Town Districts of Huntly, Ngaruawahia, Pukekohe, and Raglan are included in this district.

THAMES.

Thames District comprises the Counties of Coromandel and Thames, the Whangamarino Riding of Waikato County, the Huntly Riding less the Huntly Town District, and includes that portion of the Ohinemuri County lying to the west of the Thames (or Waihou) River. This district also includes the Thames Borough and the Islands of Great Mercury, Cuvier, and Slipper.

OHINEMURI.

Ohinemuri District comprises that portion of Ohinemuri County lying to the east of the Thames (or Waihou) River; that portion of Katikati Riding of Tauranga County lying to the north of the county road from Te Aroha to the mouth of the Terereatukahia Stream, and running through Blocks I and II, Aongatete Survey District; and that portion of Te Aroha Riding of Piako County lying to the north of Blocks II and III, Wairere Survey District. The Te Aroha Borough is included in this district.

WAIKATO.

Waikato District comprises the whole of the Waipa County less that portion of Newcastle Riding north of the coach-road from Whatawhata to Hamilton hereinbefore described, now included in the Raglan Electoral District; includes the Maungatautari and Putaruru Ridings of Matamata County; that portion of West Taupo County within the existing Tauranga Electoral District; the Matakowhai and Kawhia Ridings of Kawhia County; Pirongia Riding of Raglan County; and includes part of the Te Rau-a-moa Riding of Waitomo County lying to the north generally of Otorohanga Riding and the Ngutunui Road leading to the Village of Te Rau-a-moa. The Town Districts of Kihikihi, Te Awamutu, Leamington, Kawhia, Frankton, and the Boroughs of Hamilton and Cambridge are included in this district.

TAURANGA.

Tauranga District comprises the whole of the Piako County less that portion of Te Aroha Riding now included in the Ohinemuri Electoral District hereinbefore described; includes the Ridings of Matamata, Taotaoroa, and Patere of Matamata County; the Ridings of Te Puke, Waimapu, Te Puna, and that part of Katikati Riding not included in the Ohinemuri Electoral District hereinbefore described; that portion of Rotorua County lying to the west of Block XIV, Maketu Survey District; Blocks II and VI, Rotoiti Survey District; thence skirting the eastern shore of Lake Rotorua to the northernmost corner of Ngapuna Block; thence by the north-eastern boundary of the said block to the old road; thence by that road to the Town of Rotorua as defined by the Rotorua Town Act, 1907; thence south-easterly and south-westerly by the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of the said town to Tangatarua; thence by a right line due west to the western boundary of Rotorua County. This district includes the Borough of Tauranga, the Town of Rotorua, and Motiti Island.

BAY OF PLENTY.

Bay of Plenty District comprises the existing Electoral District of Bay of Plenty less that portion of Rotorua County now included in the Tauranga Electoral District hereinbefore described, and also less that portion of Patutahi Riding lying to the west of the Waipaoa River and north of the Waikakariki Stream and the Okahuatiu No. 2 Block, and includes the Maketu Riding of Tauranga County. This district includes Opotiki Town District.

TAUMARUNUI.

Taumarunui District comprises the Ridings of Taharoa, Awaroa, Te Kuri, and Waiharakeke, of Kawhia County; the whole of the Awakino and Ohura Counties; the whole of the Waitomo County less that portion of Te Rau-a-moa Riding now included in the Electoral District of Waikato hereinbefore described; that portion of the West Taupo County lying south-west of a right line drawn from Pureora to the mouth of the Waihora Stream; the Waihi, Tikorangi, Urenui, and Mokau Ridings of Clifton County; and that part of the Ngatimaru Riding already in the existing Electoral District of Taumarunui; that portion of the Waitara West Road District lying to the west of the Waitara River, including the Village of Huirangi, and north of Cross Road to the Mataitawa Road; thence by the existing Taranaki Electoral District to the Mahoetahi Road, and thence by that road to the sea. This district includes the Boroughs of Te Kuiti, Taumarunui, and Waitara.

GISBORNE.

Gisborne District comprises part of the Waikaremoana Riding of Wairoa County lying between the Wairoa River and the western boundary of the Mahia Riding; the whole of the Mahia Riding of Wairoa County, and the Hangaroa, Arai, Patutahi, and Whataupoko Ridings of Cook County; the whole of the Gisborne Riding less that portion already included in the Bay of Plenty Electoral District. This district includes the Borough of Gisborne and Portland Island.
