Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the closing the roads mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

Consenting to closing Road in Block II, Westmere Survey District, Waitotara County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of July, 1911.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three (a) of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county road or district road to be stopped, and such road shall not be deemed to be stopped, until the consent thereto of the Governor by Order in Council gazetted is obtained:
And whereas the Waitotara County Council has applied for such consent in respect to the road described in the Schedule hereto:

Application for Permission to grant a Lease of Part of a Street formerly known as Black Street, which has been stopped, within the Borough of Kaiapoi, to the Purposes of Public Utility in Terms of Section 182 (2) of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, assented to.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of July, 1911.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by the one-hundred-and-eighty-second section of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that where in diverting, or stopping, or diminishing the width of any street any part thereof is no longer required for public use, the Council may grant a lease of the same, or any part thereof, to any purpose of public convenience or utility approved by the Governor in Council:
And whereas application has been received from the Kaiapoi Borough Council that the portion of street formerly known as Black Street described in the Schedule hereto, and which has been stopped by the Kaiapoi Borough Council in accordance with the requirements of the said Act, may be leased by that Council to the North Canterbury Education Board for the purpose of public utility, to wit, for the erection of a technical school, upon the terms and conditions set forth in a lease dated the twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eleven:
And whereas the Governor in Council is of opinion that the said portion of the street should be leased for the purpose aforesaid:
