“7. In franking-machines of the kind described, registering apparatus, with external indicator, adapted to be set to a fixed desired amount, and whereby zero is denoted and the franking mechanism locked when the fixed desired amount is exhausted, substantially as set forth.
“8. In franking-machines of the kind described, a catch which automatically falls into place and locks the mechanism when the last stroke of an operating-handle brings an indicator to zero, substantially as set forth.
“9. In franking-machines of the kind described, a spring-operated slidable plunger carrying a stamping-die and a handle for operating the plungers, substantially as set forth.”
