Land temporarily reserved for a Show-ground for the Use of the Waimarino Agricultural, Pastoral, Horticultural, and Industrial Association (Incorporated), in Block VI, Makotuku Survey District, Wellington Land District.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for a show-ground for the use of the Waimarino Agricultural, Pastoral, Horticultural, and Industrial Association (Incorporated).

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 17 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section 50, Block VI, Makotuku Survey District, commencing at a point on the south-western side of the Raetihi-Parapara Road immediately opposite a point on the road traverse-line 58 links south of road traverse-peg marked “A,” which is opposite the northern boundary of Section 30, Block VI, Makotuku Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by the Raetihi-Parapara Road, 1000 links; and towards the south, west, and north by Section 22, Block VI, Makotuku Survey District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5438/20, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

this sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods, more or less, being Reserve 3838 (in red), Block XVI, Waimate Survey District. Bounded northward by the road forming the southern boundary of Rural Section 11075, eastward by Rural Section 10175, southward by a line along the centre of Waimate Creek, and westward by Rural Section 14884; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5536/5, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Arrangements for First Election, &c., Napier South Town District, County of Hawke’s Bay.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint

JOHN PARKER,

of Napier, to be the Returning Officer for the purpose of conducting the first election of Commissioners of the Town District of Napier South, County of Hawke’s Bay, as constituted under the Town Boards Act, 1908; also to appoint Wednesday, the 2nd day of August, 1911, to be the date, and the Hawke’s Bay Timber Company’s Building, in Kennedy’s Road, Napier South, to be the place, at which the first election shall be held; and also to appoint Thursday, the 3rd day of August, 1911, at 8 o’clock in the afternoon, to be the time, and the said Hawke’s Bay Timber Company’s Building, Kennedy’s Road, Napier South, to be the place, at which the first meeting of the said Commissioners shall be held.
