Extension of Time for Preparation of County Rolls, &c., Featherston County.

ISLINGTON, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of July, 1911.

Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS it has been made to appear that the preparation of the rolls for the County of Featherston, and the taking of certain steps consequent on such preparation, cannot be made and taken within the times mentioned in the Counties Act, 1908, and it is expedient to extend the said times respectively:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the said Counties Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the several dates mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be the respective dates for taking the several steps set out in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

  1. For preparing the defaulters list and the rolls for ridings within the County of Featherston: Until the 22nd day of July, 1911.

  2. Time for which such list and rolls shall be open for inspection: From the 27th day of July, 1911, to the 15th day of August, 1911.

  3. Time for appeals against the said rolls: Until the 31st day of August, 1911.

  4. Revision Courts may sit for hearing applications with reference to the said rolls, and adjourn: Until the 20th day of September, 1911.

  5. Time when the said rolls, having been duly corrected and signed, shall come into force: On the 2nd day of October, 1911.

Hot Springs Reserve in the Town of Tokaanu brought under the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of July, 1911.

Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the hot springs reserve in the Town of Tokaanu, Wellington Land District, described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908; and such reserve shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 57 acres 1 rood 5 perches, more or less, being Section 1, Block V, Town of Tokaanu, commencing at the north-western corner of Section 3, Block V, Town of Tokaanu. Bounded towards the south-west, north-west, and north by Native land, 3125·6 links, 1780 links, and 287 links respectively; towards the north-east and east generally by a road and river-bank reserve along the western bank of the Tokaanu River, by Section 2, said Block V (Native reserve), again by a road and river-bank reserve, by Section 1A, Block V aforesaid (a Native reserve), again by a road and river-bank reserve, and by a public road; and towards the south-east by Section 3 of said block: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 275/5, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in Block IX, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, situate in the Borough of Mornington, of a Width less than 66 ft. but not less than 40 ft.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of July, 1911.

Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and seventy-eight of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, it is, inter alia, provided that where the configuration of any borough is such as that within any particular area or areas thereof it is difficult or inexpedient to construct streets of the width of sixty-six feet as required by the said Act, the Governor may, by Order in Council defining the limits of such particular area or areas, authorize the Council to permit within such area or areas the construction of streets and private streets of a width less than sixty-six feet but not less than forty feet:

And whereas the configuration of the Borough of Mornington is such that within the area described in the Schedule hereto it is inexpedient to construct streets of sixty-six feet in width:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby permit, within the area described in the Schedule hereto, the laying-off of a street within the said area of a width less than sixty-six feet but not less than forty feet.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece of land in the Land District of Otago, situated in the Borough of Mornington, being portion of Block IX, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District; as the said land is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 29596, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon shown in green border.

Vesting a Gravel Reserve in the Matamata County Council.

ISLINGTON, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of July, 1911.

Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved for gravel purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Matamata County Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Matamata County, in trust, for gravel purposes.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section 82, Matamata Settlement, Block II, Tapapa Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road 100 links wide, 424·7 links; towards the south-east by Section 108, Matamata Settlement, Block II, Tapapa Survey District, 429 links; and towards the south-west and north-west by Section 109, Matamata Settlement aforesaid, 400 links and 571·8 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 19293/405, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red (Auckland plan No. 13202A).
