My Lord,—I have the honour to request that you will inform you Ministers that His Majesty will not be advised to exercise his power of disallowance with regard to Act No. 4 of 1910, of the Parliament of New Zealand, entitled An Act to prohibit the Importation, Manufacture, and Sale of Matches made with White Phosphorus, transcripts of which were enclosed in your despatch No. 156, of the 15th of December last.
- With reference to Lord Plunket’s despatch No. 80, of the 11th of October, 1909, I should be glad to learn whether your Government now desire that their adherence should be notified to the Berne Convention of the 26th September, 1906.
