Dundee 13th December 1892
I have chemically examined a sample of Whisky marked Glenfarg 10 years old the Pearl of Scottish Whiskies Gow & Ross, Sole Proprietors Dundee. This Whisky contains a normal amount of extractive material, while the volatile ingredients are pure and entirely free from objectionable substances such as the higher alcohols—fusel oil, &c.
I have formed the opinion that this is a sound and reliable Whisky, fully aged and matured and in every respect equal to the claims made for it.
