AUCKLAND FRESH FOOD AND ICE COMPANY (LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 223 of the Companies Act, 1908, that at an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company duly convened and held at the Chamber of Commerce, Swanson Street, Auckland, in the Provincial District of Auckland, on Thursday, the 22nd December, 1910, at 2.30 p.m.

  1. That it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to go into voluntary liquidation, and that the same be wound up accordingly.

  2. That Messrs. STANLEY G. CHAMBERS and ROBERT NEIL be and are hereby appointed Liquidators of the company.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, carrying on business as General Importers at Lower Albert Street, Auckland, under the style or firm of “Froude and Kettle,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 31st day of December, 1910.

All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by JAMES C. FROUDE, who will continue to carry on the said business under the style or firm of “J. C. Froude.”

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of the Taratu Coal and Railway Company (Limited).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company duly convened and held at the registered office of the company, Vogel Street, Dunedin, on Wednesday, the 11th day of January, 1911, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed :—

“That the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and that the company be wound up voluntarily under the Companies Act, 1908.”

And at the said meeting CHARLES SPEIGHT, of Dunedin, Brewer, CHARLES FREDERICK GREENSLADE, of Dunedin, Brewer, RICHARD JAMES HUDSON, of Dunedin, Manufacturer, and JOHN SCOTT, of Dunedin, Plumber, were appointed Liquidators for the purposes of the winding-up.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto subsisting between us, the undersigned, JOHN O’REGAN and JOHN NEIL MACDONALD, carrying on business at Port Awanui as Contractors, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 2nd instant. All debts due by the firm will be paid by the undersigned JOHN O’REGAN, who will carry on the business himself as heretofore.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between JOHN DRAPER and FRANK WATTS, both of Whangarei, in the Provincial District of Auckland, in New Zealand, Builders, carrying on business as Builders and Carpenters in and about Whangarei aforesaid under the style or firm of “Draper and Watts,” has been dissolved as from the 19th day of December, 1910.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and of the Paeroa Brewery Company (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the twelfth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and ten, presented to Mr. Justice Worley Bassett Edwards, a Judge of the Supreme Court, by Archibald Hill, of Paeroa, Brewer, a creditor of the said company; and the said petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court at 10 o’clock in the forenoon on Friday, the third day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at the Judge’s Chambers, at the Supreme Court House, at the City of Auckland. And any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company under the above Act should appear at the time of hearing, by himself or his counsel, for that purpose. And a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.
