Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Hereheretau B No. 9 Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa, on Monday, the 13th day of February, 1911, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions :—

“1. That a lease of the above block be granted to Harry Skilton, of Nuhaka, settler, for a term of twenty-one years, at a rental of not less than £5 per cent. on the present Government valuation, with a right to renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at £5 per cent. on the then unimproved Government valuation, with right to compensation for improvements.

“2. That the said land be leased to a person to be nominated at the meeting, at a rental not less than £5 per cent. on the Government capital value, for a term of twenty-one years, with a right of renewal for a further term of twenty-one years ; or, in the alternative

“3. That the said land be sold to a person to be nominated at the meeting at the present Government capital value.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Hereheretau No. 2B Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa, on Monday, the 13th day of February, 1911, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That the said land or a part thereof be leased to Karena Rawhi, sheep-farmer, of Whakaki, for a term of twenty-one years, with a right of renewal for a further term of twenty-one years, at a rental equal to £5 per cent. on the Government unimproved valuation.”

Dated at Gisborne, this 11th day of January, 1911.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Tutuotekaha No. 2 Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa, on Tuesday, the 14th day of February, 1911, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That the said land be leased to Karena Taite and Pera Horomona as joint tenants for the term of twenty-one years, with the right of renewal for a further term of twenty-one years, at a rental equal to £5 per cent. on the unimproved Government valuation.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Hinewhaki No. 3 Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa, on Tuesday, the 14th day of February, 1911, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That a lease of the above-mentioned block, comprising 231 acres, be granted to Florence Stewart Hamlin, of Napier, spinster, for a term of twenty-one years, at a rental of £5 per cent. on the capital value of the said block, subject to usual covenants otherwise, together with a right of renewal for a further term of twenty-one years.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Kinikini Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa, on Wednesday, the 15th day of February, 1911, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That the said land be sold at the amount of the Government capital value to a person to be nominated at the meeting.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Aotea Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Marackowhai A No. 5 Block (17,524 acres) will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Taumarunui, on Friday, the 3rd day of February, 1911, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That an offer made by the Crown to purchase the land or any part thereof be accepted ; or, in the alternative

“That the land be vested in the Aotea District Maori Land Board for leasing under Part XIV of the Native Land Act, 1909.”

Dated at Wanganui, this 13th day of January, 1911.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Ikaroa Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Waiorongomai No. 5 Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Otaki, on Wednesday, the 1st day of February, 1911, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That the said land be sold to Edwin Percivale Simcox, of Otaki, farmer, at a price equal to the Government valuation of the said land.”
