NOTE.—Humid conditions have prevailed during the month, the weather being seasonable for the time of the year, with rainfall only 0·38 of an inch above the average. Total bright sunshine, 258 hours 31 minutes. There was one sunless day. Mean earth temperature at 1 ft. was 61·5°, and 60° at 3 ft. Mean dew-point, 52·9°; mean elastic force of vapour, 0·401 inches; relative humidity, 76 per cent.
