to Edward Johnson, of Horse-shoe Bay, Stewart Island,
to use and occupy a portion of the foreshore and land
below low water in Horse-shoe Bay, in order to construct
and maintain thereon a fish-shed, in the position shown
on the plan marked M.D. 3484, deposited in the office
of the Marine Department, at Wellington, and upon and
subject to the terms and conditions therein set forth :
And whereas it is desirable that the said license should
be revoked :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Do-
minion, and in exercise of all the powers enabling him in
that behalf, doth hereby revoke and determine the said
recited Order in Council of the fifth day of March, one
thousand nine hundred and ten, and the rights and pri-
vileges thereby conferred.

Notice of Intention to change the Purpose of Portion of a
Reserve in the Nelson Land District.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS by the Public Reserves and Domains
Act, 1908, it is, amongst other things, enacted that
the Governor may declare his intention to change, exchange,
or alter the dedication of any public reserve now or hereafter
vested in His Majesty or the Governor for any of the purposes
named in Class II of the Second Schedule to the said Act,
whether the same be granted or not ; and in the case of any
reserve made under the authority of section three hundred
and twenty-one of the Land Act, 1908, if it shall, in the
opinion of the Governor, be expedient to change the purpose
of such reserve or any part thereof from the purpose or
presumed purpose for which it was set apart to any other
purpose, or if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be
expedient to exchange any of the land comprised in such
reserve for other land of equal value, to be dedicated to one
or more purposes named in the said Class II, the Governor
may, by notice gazetted, make such change, exchange, or
dedication, as the case may be, and in such notice declare
the manner and terms in which the same is intended to be
so made :
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron
Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the Public Reserves and
Domains Act, 1908, aforesaid, declare my intention to change
the specific purpose of the portion of the reserve described
in the second column of the Schedule hereto from that
named in the first column of the said Schedule to that
named in the third column of the said Schedule.

All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by ad-measurement 1 acre and 19 perches, more or less, being Section No. 79A, Town of Hector. Set apart as a reserve for public utility in New Zealand Gazette No. 19, of the 8th March, 1894. All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement one rood, more or less, being part of Section No. 79A, Town of Hector. Bounded towards the north-east by Greenfield Street, 204·2 links ; towards the south-east by Pitt Street, 116·9 links ; towards the south-west by a line parallel to the north-east boundary, 223·7 links ; and towards the north-west by the road along the coast of Tasman Sea : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less : as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5923/5, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. Site for a post-office.

Additional Regulation under Municipal Corporations Acts
(District Electors List and Roll).

ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
conferred upon him by the Municipal Corporations
Act, 1908, and the Acts amending the same, His Excel-
lency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand doth
hereby make the following additional regulation for the
purposes of those Acts.

REGULATION.

THE form of claim for enrolment prescribed by regula-
tion 3 of the regulations under the Municipal Corporations
Act, 1900, made by Order in Council dated 14th day of
January, 1901, which were published in the New Zealand
Gazette of 17th January, 1901, and which form was set
out in the Second Schedule to the said regulation, is
hereby revoked, and the following form substituted in
lieu thereof :—

FORM OF CLAIM FOR ENROLMENT.

Under the Municipal Corporations Acts.

Claim for Enrolment on the District Electors List [of
Ward] of the Borough of

To the Town Clerk.

  1. THE undersigned [State full name, occupation, and
    place of residence], hereby claim to be enrolled on the dis-
    trict electors list of [ Ward of] the Borough of
    , on the grounds hereinafter set forth.

(1.) The qualification is possessed by me in my own
right [or, as the case may be, the right of my husband
(or wife), whose full name is (Set out full name of hus-
band or wife)].

[In the case of a freeholder’s qualification.]

(2.) I claim to be enrolled on the freehold list as bene-
ficial owner of a freehold estate in the following land
within [the Ward of] the borough [Set out descrip-
tion of land by reference to section and block], the capital
value whereof is not less than £

[In the case of a ratepayer’s qualification.]

(2.) I claim to be enrolled on the ratepayers list as a
ratepayer in respect of the following property within [the
Ward of] the borough :—
Building, if any, ; Section, ; Block,
; Street, ; number on valuation list, if known,
; term of lease, if any, .

[In the case of a residential qualification.]

(2.) I claim to be enrolled on the residential list as
having resided for one year in New Zealand, and in [the
Ward of] the borough during the three months,
now last past, and as being a British subject by birth
[or by naturalization in New Zealand].

(2.) I claim to be enrolled on the residential list as being,
and for not less than three months now last past having
been, in occupation, as undermentioned, of a building
within [the Ward of] the borough as tenant at a
rental at the rate of not less than £10 per year for each
residential occupant under the tenancy. [Set out the de-
scription and situation of the building, or if more than
one, then of each building occupied during any portion
of the three months, specifying in each case the name of
the landlord, the term of the tenancy, the rental payable
thereunder, the period of actual occupation, and, if the
number of occupants under the tenancy exceeds one, the
number of them and the name of each of them.]

(3.) I hereby solemnly and sincerely declare that the
foregoing statements are true, and that I verily believe
myself to be entitled to be enrolled in terms of this my
claim.
