NOTICE OF INTENTION OF THE TE KUITI BOROUGH COUNCIL TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908; and of the Public Works Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Te Kuiti Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the opening-up and using a quarry; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Queen Street, Te Kuiti, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, at the Council Chambers, Queen Street, Te Kuiti.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A PUBLIC STREET.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Invercargill Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the widening of Windsor Street, Catherine Street, and George Street, in the Township of Charleston, in the Borough of Invercargill; and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in Tay Street, Invercargill, and is open for public inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, at the Council Chambers, Tay Street, Invercargill.

That piece of land in the Borough of Invercargill, containing 39·48 poles, being that part of Allotments 13 and 14, Block II, of the Township of Charleston, fronting George Street of the width of 25 links, fronting Windsor Street of the width of 50 links, and fronting Catherine Street of the width of 25 links, as shown by the aforesaid plan and thereon coloured red, and also shown on plan deposited No. 1151 in the Land Transfer Office, at Invercargill, and plan deposited No. 73 in the Deeds Registration Office, at Invercargill.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between PETER PALLESON, of Timaru, Sailmaker, and JAMES NEIL, of Dunedin, Herbalist, carrying on business as Tentmakers and Ship-chandlers at Timaru, under the style or firm of “P. Palleson and Co.,” has been dissolved as from the 1st day of March, 1911. All debts due to and owing by the said late partnership will be received and paid respectively by the said PETER PALLESON, who will continue to carry on the said business under the style or firm of “P. Palleson Co.”
