Certain Land reclaimed from the Sea included in City of Auckland.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS a petition, publicly notified, has been presented to me under section one hundred and nineteen of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, by the Council of the City of Auckland, praying me to alter the boundaries of the City of Auckland so as to include therein the pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto, being lands reclaimed from the sea adjacent to the said city, and in respect of which there are no electors:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the boundaries of the said city are hereby altered so as to include within the limits of the said city the lands described in the said Schedule hereto, being lands reclaimed from the sea adjacent to the said city, and in respect of which lands there are no electors.

SCHEDULE.

All that area bounded towards the west, north, and east by the Waitemata Harbour, 2863·6 links, 2274·2 links, and 3000 links respectively; and towards the south by the northern boundary of the City of Auckland, 27 links, 1815 links, and 459·6 links.

Also all that area bounded towards the west, north, and east by the Waitemata Harbour, 75·76 links, 348·86 links, and 75·76 links respectively; and towards the south by the northern boundary of the City of Auckland, 348·86 links.

Also all that area bounded towards the west, north, east, and again towards the north by the Waitemata Harbour, 757·5 links, 183·3 links, 581·8 links, and 239·4 links respectively; and towards the south-east and south by the boundary of the City of Auckland, 250 links, 82 links, and 240 links.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Land set apart for Selection.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section seventy-seven of the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, as amended by section twenty-two of the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Amendment Act, 1910, it is, amongst other things, enacted that in no case shall any moneys be expended under the provisions of the said section seventy-seven in connection with any block of land unless that block is set apart for selection under that section pursuant to Proclamation in that behalf:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the aforesaid Acts, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for selection.

ERRATA.—In Notice to Mariners No. 29 of 1911 (Rock off S.W. Cape, Stewart Island), published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 16, of the 2nd March, 1911, page 830, the third bearing should read “The south and S.W. capes in line N. 82° E. clear the rock,” not 87° E.

In Gazette No. 17, of 9th March, 1911, page 886, in description of area excluded from Borough of Roslyn and annexed to County of Taieri, in twelfth line, for “Section No. 23” read “Section No. 28.”
