Act and these regulations: Provided that not more than one such license shall be issued to the same person.

  1. No licensee shall take or kill more than six red-deer stags or fallow-deer bucks.

  2. No doe, hind, or fawn shall be taken or killed on any pretext whatever; and no licensee shall allow any dog to accompany either himself or any attendant he may have with him.

  3. Nothing herein contained shall extend to authorizing any person to sell any deer or portion thereof.

  4. Any person committing a breach of any of these regulations shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding £20.

SCHEDULE.

, of , having this day paid the sum of £ , is hereby authorized to take or kill deer (bucks or stags) within the Marlborough Acclimatization District, from the day of , 1911, to the day of , 1911 (both days inclusive), subject to the provisions of the Animals Protection Act, 1908, and all regulations thereunder in force within the said district.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in the Suburbs of Pohangina, Wellington Land District.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was heretofore duly set apart for a municipal reserve, being a reserve within Class I of the Second Schedule of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, and such land has not been vested in trust in any society, body corporate, or trustees:

And whereas it is expedient that such land shall be appropriated for a public recreation-ground, being a reserve within Class III of the aforesaid Act:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the eleventh section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, do by this notification declare that the said land shall, from and after the second day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, be appropriated for a public recreation-ground under Class III of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908; and I do hereby direct that this notification shall be published in the New Zealand Gazette.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 8 acres and 18 perches, more or less, being Suburban Section No. 32B, Town of Pohangina. Bounded towards the north-west by the abutment of a road and by Suburban Section No. 32A, Town of Pohangina, a cemetery reserve; towards the north-east generally by a public road; towards the south-east by Suburban Section No. 33, Town of Pohangina aforesaid; and towards the south-west by Suburban Sections Nos. 63 and 34 of said town: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1204/7, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Land temporarily reserved for a Site for a Public Hospital in the Town of Frankton, Otago Land District.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Otago Land District described in the schedule hereunder written, for a site for a public hospital.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 3 perches, more or less, being Block XIX, Town of Frankton. Bounded towards the north-west by Warwick Street, 376 links; towards the north-east by Essex Street, 738 links; towards the south-east by Leicester Street, 376 links; and towards the south-west by Cumberland Street, 738 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5474/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Lands temporarily reserved for a Public Recreation-ground in the Wellington Land District.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

Bounded towards the north-east generally by a road and by Section No. 24, Block I, Mangahao Survey District; towards the east generally by the road forming part of the western boundary of Section No. 27 of said Block I; towards the south and south-west generally by a road; and towards the north-west by a right line bearing 41° 22′ 30″ from the northernmost angle of the last-mentioned road to the road forming the north-eastern boundary: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 25119/17, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 72 acres, more or less, being Section 27, Block I, Mangahao Survey District. Bounded towards the north and east generally by a road reserve along the Manawatu River; towards the south-east by a line forming the north-western boundary of Section No. 14, Block I, Mangahao Survey District; and towards the west generally by a road: excepting from the above-described area a public road which intersects the same: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 25119/10, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.
