Approving and appointing a Bonding Warehouse.

CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the powers in me for this purpose vested by the Customs Law Act, 1908, I, the Minister of Customs, do hereby approve and appoint the undermentioned warehouse to be a warehouse for the reception of goods under bond, namely:—

Port of Dunedin.

A building of galvanized iron, situated on Section 19, Block 6, Stafford Street, to be known as

POWLEY AND KEAST’S BOND.

Notice of the Taking and Laying-off of a Road in Block II, Heao Survey District, Ohura County.

NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, under the authority of section 93 of the Public Works Act, 1908, that the road described in the Schedule hereto was, on the 15th day of September, 1910, duly taken and laid off through the land specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said Dominion, by Warrant dated the 18th day of January, 1910.

SCHEDULE.

In the Taranaki Land District; as the said area is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the preservation of scenery. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Makirikiri and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.
