TRADE MARK.
TONIT
A Combined Toning & Fixing
Bath for all kinds of P.O.P.
This bath gives any tone obtainable with an ord-
inary toning bath, and provided the print has been
long enough in the bath to ensure fixation, it is
quite as permanent.
DIRECTIONS
Place the print without previous washing face down-
wards in the solution, which should be in a flat dish:
if several prints are being treated at once, keep moving
until the desired tone is reached. Should this take place
before the print has been in the solution ten minutes it
will be well to immerse for a few minutes in a solution
of Hypo of ten per cent. strength.
Pour the used TONIT back into the bottle as it may be
used again and again.
NOTE.—No combined bath will fix prints properly under
ten minutes.
The character of the negative largely influences the
tone of a P.O.P. print.
TONIT IS PREPARED ONLY BY
