as from the eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, to be the Coalgate Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Coalgate as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

COALGATE DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 28 acres 2 roods 29 perches, more or less, being reserve numbered 2409, situate in Block VIII, Hororata Survey District, and bounded northward by the Whitecliffs branch line of railway, 1542 links; eastward by reserve numbered 1814, 1504·3 links; southward by Rural Section numbered 22918, 2273·5 links; and westward by Rural Section numbered 14989, 1671 links: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1124, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Raglan Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of February, 1911.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local authority to be the Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order on Council made on the thirteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-third day of September, one thousand nine hundred and nine, the land described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act:

And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

THE RAGLAN TOWN DISTRICT BOARD

to be the Raglan Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the twenty-eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at two o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Raglan Town District Board office, Bow Street, Raglan, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

RAGLAN DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 5 perches, more or less, being Lots 6, 8, and 9 of Section 14, Town of Raglan. Bounded towards the north-east by Point Street, 232 links; towards the south-east by Lot 7 of Section 14, Town of Raglan, 440 links; towards the south-west by Kaitoki Street, 378 links; towards the west by Lot 4 of Section 14 aforesaid, 213 links; again towards the north-east and towards the north-west by Lot 5 of Section 14 aforesaid, 220 and 150 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1321/A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Incorporating the Melrose Land Settlement Association.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of February, 1911.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section seven of the Land Settlement Finance Act, 1909 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided that as soon as practicable after the complete execution of any agreement under the said Act, application in the prescribed form shall be made to the Governor by or on behalf of the purchasers for an Order in Council confirming the agreement in pursuance of the said Act: And whereas by sections eight and nine of the said Act it is further provided that upon receipt of such application the Minister of Finance shall refer the same, together with the agreement, to the Board of Land Purchase Commissioners for its report thereon, and if the Board reports that the agreement is fit and proper to be so confirmed, the Governor may, if he thinks fit, by Order in Council confirm the agreement accordingly: And whereas under the provisions of the said Act an agreement bearing date the seventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and ten, has been entered into between George William Mace, as vendor, of the one part, and Thomas Alfred Hines, Charles Edward Mace, William James Cossey, Robert Henry Morse, and George Barber, as purchasers, of the other part, for the purchase of the land therein described, and the said purchasers therein agreed to become incorporated as the Melrose Land Settlement Association: And whereas application has been made in the prescribed form for the issue of an Order in Council confirming the said agreement: And whereas the said application, together with the said agreement, was referred to the Board of Land Purchase Commissioners for its report, and the Board has reported that no roading is required in respect of the said land, and that the agreement is fit and proper to be confirmed:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the authorities conferred on him by the said Act, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby confirm the agreement dated the seventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and ten.

Regulations under the Local Bodies’ Loans Acts.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of February, 1911.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him in this behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke all regulations heretofore made under the said Acts, and in lieu thereof doth hereby make the regulations set forth hereunder for the purposes of the said Acts.

REGULATIONS.

Special Roll.

  1. The special roll for the part of a district for which a loan is to be raised, and which is not a legal subdivision, shall be prepared from the existing valuation roll by the local authority applying for the loan, and shall be in the following form, and shall contain the particulars therein specified:—
