NOTE.—The weather during the month has been sunny, and although rain fell on seventeen days, yet the total fall was considerably below the average for November. Total bright sunshine, 232 hours 10 minutes, averaging 7 hours 44 minutes per day, and no sunless days. Earth temperatures; 56·1° at 1 ft., 55·4° at 3 ft., increasing 3° at each depth during the month. Mean dew-point, 44·4°; mean elastic force of vapour, 0·293 inches; and mean relative humidity, 65 per cent.
