Land proclaimed as a Road in Blocks X and XIV, Karioi Survey District, Kawhia County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the lessee and mortgagee of the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Kawhia County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Karioi Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the lessee, sublessee, and mortgagee of the Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Mangawhero Road Board, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Ngamatea Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road described in the First Schedule hereto.

Amended Regulations under the Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1908.—Notice No. 1563.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Christchurch, this twentieth day of November, 1911.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by virtue of the Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time make regulations, inter alia, imposing fees to be taken under the said Act: And whereas by Order in Council dated the fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and two, regulations were made under the Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1900, relating to slaughterhouses: And whereas by clause twenty of those regulations it was provided that certain inspection fees should be payable in respect of cattle, sheep, calves, and pigs slaughtered at any licensed slaughterhouse: And whereas it is desired to amend those regulations:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1908, doth hereby amend the aforesaid regulations by inserting, after the words “at any licensed slaughterhouse” in clause twenty of the aforesaid regulations, the words “except a licensed slaughterhouse at which a Special Inspector has been appointed in terms of section thirty-three of the Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1908.”

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the second day of May, one thousand nine hundred and eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the fourteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and eight, regulations were made, under the authority of the Acts therein recited, for the purposes of the classification and regulation of the Post and Telegraph Department of the Civil Service, and it is expedient to amend such regulations in the manner hereinafter mentioned:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke regulation numbered 52 in the Schedule to the aforesaid Order in Council, and in lieu thereof doth hereby make the regulations set forth in the Schedule hereto, and doth order that such regulations shall be read as part of the regulations first hereinbefore mentioned, and shall have effect on and after the date of publication of this Order in Council in the New Zealand Gazette.
