Land proclaimed as a Road in Block VI, Motueka Survey
District, Nelson Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder
Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents
of the owner and mortgagee of the land described in the
Schedule hereto, and of the Waimea County Council,
being the local authority in whose district the said land is
situated, proclaim as a road the land in Motueka Survey
District described in the Schedule hereto.

Approximate Area of the Parcel of Land hereby proclaimed as a Road.	Being Portion of Section No.	Situated in Block	Situated in Survey District of	Shown on Plan	Coloured on Plan
A. R. P. 1 2 0	67 (Motueka Rural)	VI	Motueka	L. 1911/208	Red.

In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured
as above mentioned, and deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands, at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable John Poynder Dickson - Poynder,
Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of
New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued
under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the
Government House, at Wellington, this ninth
day of December, in the year of our Lord one
thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Land Act, 1909, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron
Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby lay out and take as a road the land described in
the Schedule hereto.

in Blocks IX and XIII, Onewhero Survey District, Raglan County, dated the 3rd day of November, 1911, and
published in Gazette No. 89, of the ninth day of the same month, page 3334, read Block " IX " instead of Block " XI."

After a massive fire destoyed the wooden Parliament complex in 1907, Old Government House (depicted) became the seat of Parliament until 1918. Demolished in 1969 to make way for the Beehive.
