Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owners, mortgagees, and lessees of the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto, and of the Waimate County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Otaio Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owners of the land mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Hamilton Borough Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a street the land in Hamilton Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the street described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the street described in the First Schedule hereto.

After a massive fire destoyed the wooden Parliament complex in 1907, Old Government House (depicted) became the seat of Parliament until 1918. Demolished in 1969 to make way for the Beehive.
