Block XIV, Mahoe Survey District. Bounded towards the
north by the Kohi Road; towards the south-east by Sec-
tion 8, Block XIV aforesaid; towards the north-east gene-
rally by the Taumata Road; and towards the south and
south-west generally by Sub. 2 of Pahautuhia Block : save
and except that portion of the Taumata Road which inter-
sects the above-described area : as the same is delineated on
the plan marked L. 5457/1x, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered

by admeasurement 18 acres 2 roods, more or less, being
Section 11, Block XIV, Mahoe Survey District. Bounded
towards the north generally by the Taumata Road ; to-
wards the north-east by Section 8, Block XIV, Mahoe
Survey District; towards the south-east by a stream; to-
wards the south generally by the Taumata Road, by
Section 8, Block XIV aforesaid, and by Whaka Road;
and towards the west by Sub. 2 of Pahautuhia Block :
save and except those portions of the Taumata and
Whaka Roads intersecting the above-described area : as
the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5457/1y,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at

Block XVI, Pouatu Survey District. Bounded towards
the north generally by Uru Road; and towards the south-
east and south-west by Section 8, Block XVI, Pouatu
Survey District: as the same is delineated on the plan
marked L. 5457/1z, deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

by admeasurement 550 acres, more or less, being Section 8,
Block XIII, Pouatu Survey District. Bounded towards
the north and north-east generally by Sections 10 and 11,
Block IX, Pouatu Survey District; towards the east by a
road; towards the south and south-west generally by Sec-
tion 5, Block XIII, Pouatu Survey District, the Mangapaka
Stream, again by Section 5, Block XIII aforesaid, and by
Section 5, Block XVI, Upper Waitara Survey District; and
towards the west and north-west generally by Sections 13
and 6, Block XII, Upper Waitara Survey District: as the
same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5457/1A(1), de-
posited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wel-
lington, and thereon bordered red. For the growth and
preservation of timber.
All that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing
by admeasurement 732 acres, more or less, being Section 3,
Block III, Mahoe Survey District. Bounded towards the
north generally by Sections 2 and 7, Block III, Mahoe
Survey District, and the Tangarakau Road; towards
the south-east generally by the Tangarakau Road, the
Okara Stream, and the Okara Road; towards the south and
south-west generally by the Okara Road, and by Sections 8
and 4, Block III aforesaid; and towards the west generally
by Section 1, Block III aforesaid: as the same is deline-
ated on the plan marked L. 5457/1A(2), deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red. For an endowment for primary
education.

this sixth day of January, one thousand nine

Land temporarily reserved for Gravel Purposes in the
Nelson Land District.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first sec-
tion of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the
Governor may from time to time, either by general or
particular description, and whether the same has been
surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwith-
standing that the same may be then held under pastoral
license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required
for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron
Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve
from sale the land in the Nelson Land District described
in the Schedule hereunder written, for gravel purposes.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by
admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, and being Section 59,
Block IV, Kawatiri Survey District. Bounded towards the
south-east by the Waimangaroa Road, 150-7 links and 361-6
links; towards the south-west, north-west, and north-east
by Section 51, Block IV, Kawatiri Survey District, 962-5
links, 511-6 links, and 985-5 links respectively: be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated
on the plan marked L. 5464/3, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered
red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this second day of January, one thousand nine
hundred and eleven.
