Land taken for the Purposes of Storage of Electrical Equipment and other Materials in the City of Dunedin.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work, to wit, for the purposes of storage of electrical equipment and other materials in the City of Dunedin:

And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities in me vested by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of storage of electrical equipment and other materials.

Approximate Area of the Parcel of Land taken. Being Situated in Block Situated in Survey District of Coloured on Plan
A. R. P. 2 2 0 Section No. 20 .. LXXIII City of Dunedin Red.

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 27131, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured as above.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work, to wit, for the purpose of a harbourmaster’s house, in Block IX, Oparara Survey District:

And whereas an agreement has been entered into with the owner of the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto to take such land for the public work hereinafter set forth:

And whereas plans have been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the land, as required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities in me vested by the Harbours Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purpose of the said harbourmaster’s house in Oparara Survey District; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and ten.
