THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Maketu,
on Tuesday, the 4th day of October, 1910, at 3.30 o’clock
in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the follow-
ing proposed resolution :—

“That the said land shall be leased to Thomas Ernest
Palmer, of Te Puke, settler, for a period of twenty-one
years, at an annual rental, payable in advance, of £5 per
centum of the unimproved value of the said land accord-
ing to Government valuation, but in no case shall the said
rental be less than 3s. per acre per annum.”

Dated at Rotorua, this 2nd day of September, 1910.

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the
Native Land Act, 1909.


REGULATION No. 48.


THE Maori Land Board for the Waiariki Maori Land
District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners
of Ngatipahiko B No. 3c No. 2 Block will be held, in
pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909,
at Maketu, on Wednesday, the 5th day of October, 1910,
at 9 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of consider-
ing the following proposed resolution :—

“That the said land be sold to James McCracken, of
Te Puke, farmer, for the unimproved value of the said
land according to Government valuation, but in no case
shall the price be less than £1 per acre.”

Native Land Act, 1909.


REGULATION No. 48.


THE Maori Land Board for the Waiariki Maori Land
District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners
of Pukaingataru B No. 17 Block will be held, in pursuance
of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Maketu,
on Wednesday, the 5th day of October, 1910, at 10.30
o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the
following proposed resolution :—

“That the said land be leased to Wilhelmina Walker,
wife of Thomas Walker, farmer, of Paengaroa, for a
period of twenty-one years, at an annual rental, payable in
advance, of £5 per centum on the unimproved value of
the said land according to Government valuation, but in
no case shall the said rental be less than 4s. per acre per
annum.”

REGULATION No. 48.


THE Maori Land Board for the Waiariki Maori Land
District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners
of Paengaroa South No. 1 Block will be held, in pursuance
of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Maketu,
on Wednesday, the 5th day of October, 1910, at 12
o’clock noon, for the purpose of considering the follow-
ing proposed resolution :—

“That the said land be leased to Edward John
Matthews, of Paengaroa, farmer, for a period of twenty-
five years, at an annual rental, payable in advance, of £5
per centum on the unimproved value of the said land
according to Government valuation, but in no case shall
the said rental be less than £50 per annum.”

on Friday, the 30th day of September, 1910, at 11.30
o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the
following proposed resolution :—

“That the said land be leased to William Rowe, of
Hawera, farmer, for a period of twenty-one years, at an
annual rental, payable in advance, of £5 per centum of
the unimproved value of the said land according to Go-
vernment valuation, but in no case shall the said rental
be less than 2s. per acre per annum.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Native Land Court
which was opened at New Plymouth on the 15th
August, 1910, and which was adjourned, will reopen on
Tuesday, the 13th September, 1910, at the same place.
