TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF LEASE.
- The purchaser of a lease shall, immediately upon the fall of the hammer, deposit an amount equal to one year's rent at the rate offered, together with £1 1s. lease fee.
- Possession will be given on the day of sale.
- The leases will be for the terms stated in the Schedule.
- The Commissioner of Crown Lands may at any time resume possession of the land comprised in a lease, or any portion thereof, by giving to the lessee twelve months' notice in writing of his intention so to do.
- The lessee shall have no right to compensation either for any improvements that may be placed upon the land or on account of the aforesaid resumption, or for any other cause, but he will be allowed, on the expiration of his lease, or in the event of the land being resumed as hereinbefore provided, to remove any fencing or buildings erected by him upon the lands.
- The lessee shall have no right to sublet, transfer, or otherwise dispose of the whole or any portion of the land comprised in the lease, except with the written consent of the Commissioner of Crown Lands first had and obtained.
- The land shall be used for grazing purposes only, and shall not be broken up or cropped without the written consent of the Commissioner of Crown Lands first had and obtained.
- The lessee shall destroy all rabbits on the land, and shall prevent their increase or spread, to the satisfaction of the Commissioner of Crown Lands.
- The lessee shall prevent the growth and spread of gorse, broom, and sweetbriar on the land comprised in the lease, and he shall with all reasonable despatch remove, or cause to be removed, all gorse, sweetbriar, broom, or other noxious weeds or plants, as may be directed by the Commissioner of Crown Lands.
- The rent shall be payable half-yearly in advance, free from all deductions whatsoever.
- The lessees of sections in the Townships of South Rakaia and Dromore will be required, within six months from the commencement of the lease, to securely fence the land, and thoroughly clear it of gorse, broom, sweetbriar, or other noxious weeds now growing upon the land, and to so keep it cleared during the whole of the term.
- The lessees of sections in the Township of Dromore will be allowed, during the term of the lease, to take one white crop only and one green crop only off the land, and shall thereafter lay the land down satisfactorily in cultivated grasses and clovers not later than the ninth year of the term, and so leave it at the expiration of the lease.
- The lessee of part of Reserve 3374, Mount Somers, will be required, during each of the first three years of the term, to thoroughly clear of gorse and other noxious weeds not less than one-third of the area comprised in his lease, so that the whole of the area shall be thoroughly cleared at the expiration of the third year of the term, and thereafter be kept clear during the remainder of the term.
- The lease shall be liable to forfeiture in case the lessee shall fail to fulfil any of the conditions of the said lease within thirty days after the date on which the same ought to be fulfilled.

NOTICE is hereby given that written tenders for leases of the undermentioned reserves and domains will be received at this office up to 4 o'clock p.m., on Wednesday, the 28th day of September, 1910, under the provisions of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.

OHINEWAIRUA SURVEY DISTRICT.

This section, which is felled and grassed, is situated about half a mile from Taihape on the Taihape-Moawhango Road. It comprises flat and terrace land. The soil is a heavy loam on papa formation. If this site is used for brickmaking any excavation must be made on a level base, and no deep or unsightly holes are to be left on the land at the end of term or earlier determination.

This section is in the Borough of Eketahuna, fronting on to High Street, about one mile from railway-station. It is flat or easy sloping land, in grass.

This section comprises part of Parkville Domain. Easy undulating land, in grass, and fenced on road frontage.

Access is from Hukanui Railway-station by metalled dray road. The sections comprise flat land, felled and grassed. Soil is of fair quality on shingle formation.
TOWN OF POTAKA.

Sections comprise the Utiku Domain. Four acres have been felled, grassed, and stumped. There is a good shed on the ground, and twenty chains of fencing.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF LEASE.
- Tenders must be accompanied by marked cheque or post-office order for six months' rent at the rate offered, together with £1 1s. lease fee.
- There are no restrictions or limitations as to the number of sections which one person may lease, and no declaration is required. Residence and improvements are not compulsory. No compensation shall be claimed by the lessee, nor shall any be allowed by the Government, on account of any improvements effected by the lessee, nor for any other cause.
- Possession will be given on the day of acceptance tender.
- The leases shall be for the term specified, but shall be subject to termination by twelve months' notice in the event of the land being required by the Government.
- The rent shall be payable half-yearly in advance.
- The lessee shall have no right to sublet, transfer, or otherwise dispose of the land comprised in the lease, except with the written consent of the Commissioner of Crown Lands first had and obtained.
- The lessee shall prevent the growth and spread of gorse, broom, and sweetbriar on the land comprised in the lease; and he shall with all reasonable despatch remove, or cause to be removed, all gorse, sweetbriar, broom, or other noxious weeds or plants, as may be directed by the Commissioner of Crown Lands.
