Land set apart for Settlement.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the seventy-fifth section of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is, amongst other things, enacted that before certain moneys therein mentioned shall be expended upon any block of land it shall be necessary that the same be proclaimed as set apart for settlement:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the said Act, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for settlement.

As the same is delineated upon the plan marked as above mentioned, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above noted.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ten.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred by the one-hundred-and-ninety-seventh section of “The Land Act, 1908,” and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for lease as the Korakonui Improved-farm Special Settlement.
