Notice of Acceptance of Complete Specifications.

Patent Office,
Wellington, 13th July, 1910.

COMPLETE specifications relating to the undermentioned applications for Letters Patent have been accepted, and are open to public inspection at this office. Any person may, at any time within two months from the date of this Gazette, give me notice in writing of opposition to the grant of any such patent. Such notice must set forth the particular grounds of objection, and be in duplicate. A fee of 10s. is payable thereon.

The copies of claims and extracts from the specifications and drawings are merely intended to give some further indication of the invention than is disclosed in the title, and the complete specifications and drawings should be referred to for a description of the invention.


No. 26162.—30th June, 1909.—STEPHEN JOHN HARTLEY, Blacksmith, and ALFRED SMITH, Labourer, both of Himatangi, New Zealand. An improved horse-coupler.

Claims.—(1.) Means for the purpose described, consisting of a rod of metal or other material adapted to extend across between the horses’ heads, and to be attached at its respective ends to such heads, substantially as specified. (2.) The improved horse-coupler constructed and operated substantially as described and explained, and as illustrated in the drawing.:
