Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Rahotu Domain.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-third day of May, 1910.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the Rahotu Domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

FREDERICK WEST,
THOMAS POLE HUGHSON,
JOHN GUY,
THOMAS HENRY PHILLIPS, and
WILLIAM HODSON
to be the Rahotu Domain Board, having the control of the lands described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the fourth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and ten, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Parihaka Road Board Office as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
RAHOTU DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 28 acres 2 roods 11 perches, more or less, being Section No. 45, Block I, Opunake Survey District. Bounded towards the north by a road, 2451 links; towards the east by the South Road, 1312·5 links; towards the south by Sections 46 and 47 of Block I aforesaid, 2283·7 links; and towards the west by a road, 1215·8 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1272, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 20 acres, more or less, being Section No. 105, Block I, Opunake Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Sections 69 and 70 of Block I aforesaid, 1899·4 links; towards the east by a road, 716·9 links; generally towards the south by the Rahotu Road, 2005·3 links; and towards the west by Section 69 of Block I aforesaid, 1141·1 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1272A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Exchanging a Gravel Reserve in the Canterbury Land District for other Land.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereto was heretofore duly set apart for gravel purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to exchange the said land for that described in the second column of the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that the said reserve described in the first column of the Schedule hereto is hereby exchanged for the land described in the second column of the Schedule hereto.

And whereas the said license has, with the consent of the Minister of Marine, been transferred to the Kauri Timber Company (Limited) (hereinafter called “the company”):
