A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section three hundred and eighty-nine of the Native
Land Act, 1909, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Go-
vernor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby lay out
and take as a road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

Approximate Area of the Piece of Land taken. Being Portion of Situated in Block Situated in Survey District of Shown on Plan marked Coloured on Plan
A. R. P. 0 2 36 Native Reserve 875 (Rapaki) IV Halswell L. 3279/40 Red.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as
above mentioned, and deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Lands, at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight
Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight
Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Go-
vernor and Commander-in-Chief in and over
His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its
Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the
said Dominion, at the Government House, at
Wellington, this thirteenth day of May, in the
year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and
ten.

Additional Land at Manurewa taken for the Purposes of the
Kaipara-Waikato Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Wai-
kato Railway to take further land at Manurewa, in addition
to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said
railway:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections
twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the
Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the lands mentioned in the
Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the purposes above
mentioned.

ington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon
coloured red, and yellow.

Manawatu Railway to take further land near Longburn, in
addition to land previously acquired for the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections
twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the
Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Sche-
dule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above men-
tioned.

of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight
Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Go-
vernor and Commander-in-Chief in and over
His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and
