Additional Rules and Regulations under the Law Practitioners Act, 1908.

BY virtue of the powers vested in us by law, it is ordered by us, Judges of the Supreme Court, that the following rules and regulations under the Law Practitioners Act, 1908, shall come into force on and after the 1st day of June, 1910.

THE RULES AND REGULATIONS ABOVE REFERRED TO.

  1. RULE 3 of the rules and regulations made by the Judges of the Supreme Court on the 21st October, 1908, is hereby modified to the extent herein appearing.

  2. The examination of candidates presenting themselves for examination under the said rule will be confined to the following statutes:—

Procedure.

(1.) The Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1908.
(2.) The Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.
(3.) The Judicature Act, 1908.
(4.) Procedure only under the Bankruptcy Act, 1908.
(5.) The Mining Act, 1908, Part IX.
(6.) The Evidence Act, 1908.

Property Law.

(7.) The Land Transfer Act, 1908.
(8.) The Property Law Act, 1908.
(9.) The Administration Act, 1908.
(10.) The Family Protection Act, 1908.
(11.) The Deeds Registration Act, 1908.

General.

(12.) The Wages Protection and Contractors’ Lien Act, 1908.
(13.) The Divorce Act, 1908.
(14.) The Destitute Persons Act, 1908.
(15.) The Mercantile Act, 1908 (sections 1–20).
(16.) The Partnership Act, 1908.
(17.) The Mining Act, 1908, Part VIII.

NOTICE is hereby given that, the lease of the undermentioned land having been forfeited by resolution of the Hawke’s Bay Land Board, the said land has thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908.
