interpreter, a Postmaster, or a teacher of a Native school under the Education Act, 1908.
(3.) Every such instrument shall be lodged with the chairman of the meeting at any time before a vote is given under it.

Unless a poll is demanded by not less than two incorporated owners a declaration by the chairman that a resolution has been carried, and an entry to that effect in the minute-book of the body corporate, shall be sufficient evidence of the fact, without proof of the number or proportion of the votes recorded in favour of or against such resolution.

If a poll is demanded by two or more owners, it shall be taken in such manner as the chairman directs, and the result of the poll shall be deemed to be the resolution of the owners in general meeting.

The proceedings of every meeting of incorporated owners shall be recorded in a minute-book, which shall be kept in the custody of the chairman or secretary of the committee. The minutes of every meeting shall be read and confirmed at the next succeeding meeting.
MISCELLANEOUS.
- (1) The name of the body corporate, either in English or Maori, shall be engraved or impressed in legible characters on the seal of the body corporate.
(2.) The seal shall be kept in the custody of the secretary of the committee, or of the chairman if no secretary has been appointed.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the Kumeroa Domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

JAMES DANIEL RAMSDEN,
JOHN GILMOUR LITTLE,
DAVID WILLIAM DUNFORD,
CHRISTOPHER LOUIS DRAGER,

to be the Kumeroa Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-eighth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and ten, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Schoolroom, Kumeroa, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

KUMEROA DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being Section No. 1, Block V, Kumeroa Village. Bounded towards the north by a public road, 1200 links; towards the east by a public road, 833·3 links; towards the south by Section No. 2, Block V, Kumeroa Village, 1200 links; and towards the west by a public road, 833·3 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1385, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 12 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or less, being Section No. 64, Block XIV, Mangaone Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Sections Nos. 62 and 63, towards the east by a public road, and towards the south and west by the Kopuaranga River; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1297, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
