compensation in respect of the taking of the said land has
not been paid or awarded:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance
and in exercise of the powers vested in me by the Public
Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of all other powers
enabling me in this behalf, do hereby revoke so much of
the said Proclamation as affects five decimal forty-seven
perches of land, being portion of Lot 6, part of Section 205,
situated in the City of Wellington (shown by red border
on the plan marked P.W.D. 26386, deposited at the office
of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington), being
part of the land taken by the said Proclamation.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight
Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight
Commander of the Royal Victorian Order,
Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over
His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and
its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of
the said Dominion, at the Government House,
at Wellington, this seventh day of May, in the
year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and
ten.

Authorising the Exchange of a Reserve in Auckland Land
District for other Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
seventh day of April, 1910.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the first column of
the Schedule hereto was heretofore duly set apart
for a site for a pound: And whereas, in the opinion of the
Governor, it is expedient to exchange the said land for that
described in the second column of the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him
by the twelfth section of the Public Reserves and Do-
mains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that the said land
described in the first column of the Schedule hereto may be
exchanged for the land described in the second column of
the Schedule hereto.

of "The Public Works Act, 1908," subject to certain
Conditions as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
seventh day of April, 1910.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred
and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908,
it is, inter alia, provided that the said section shall not
apply in any case where the local authority having control
of a road or street by resolution declares that the pro-
visions thereof shall not apply to any specified road or
street, or any specified part thereof, and such resolution
is approved by the Governor in Council:
And whereas by subsection two of section one hundred
and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is provided
that such approval may be either absolute or subject to
such conditions as the Governor by Order in Council thinks
fit to impose:
And whereas on the tenth day of October, one thousand
nine hundred and six, the Dunedin City Council, the local
authority having control of the street described in the
Schedule hereto, did by resolution declare that the pro-
visions of the said section one hundred and seventeen
should not apply to the said street and certain other
streets:
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution
should be approved to the extent and subject to the con-
ditions hereinafter mentioned:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of
the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act,
and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
approve of the said resolution in so far as it applies to
the portion of the street described in the Schedule hereto,
subject to the condition that no building or part of a
building shall at any time be erected on either side of the
said portion of street within a distance of thirty-three feet
from the centre-line of such street.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of street in the Otago Land District and
the City of Dunedin, being portion of the street known
as Corstorphine Road, Caversham, commencing at the
north-eastern boundary of Section 13, Ocean Beach Dis-
trict, and extending to the south-western boundary of
Section 20 of the same district; as the said portion of
street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 25732, and deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Pro-
vincial District, and thereon coloured green, and lettered
A-B.

Extending Hour for closing Poll, Spreydon Road Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
seventh day of April, 1910.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
vested in him by the Local Elections and Polls Act,
1908, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
extend the hour at which the poll for the election of
members of the Spreydon Road Board, to be held and
taken under the Road Boards Act, 1908, in the Spreydon
Road District, on the fifth day of May, one thousand nine
hundred and ten, shall close, to seven o'clock in the after-
noon of the same day.
