Closing a Government Road in Block IV, Kaitieke Survey District, Taupo West County.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by paragraph (c) of section one hundred and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road or any part thereof :

And whereas the Government road described in the Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purpose of a road :

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the road in Kaitieke Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

Approximate Area of the Land contained in the Road hereby stopped. Being on Frontage of Situated in Block Situated in Survey District of Shown on Plan Coloured on Plan
A. R. P. 1 2 6·6 North Island Main Trunk Railway (near Owhango Station) IV Kaitieke P.W.D. 26101 Green.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this sixth day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ten.

Additional Land in Mawheranui Survey District taken for the Purposes of the Ngahere-Blackball Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Ngahere-Blackball Railway to take further land in the Mawheranui Survey District, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway :

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the owners and mortgagees of the land mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Matamata County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Cambridge Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road described in the First Schedule hereto.
