Magic Cleanser Company (Limited), (in liquidation).

IN accordance with section 230, subsection (2), of the
Companies Act, 1908, notice is hereby given that a
General Meeting of shareholders in the above-named com-
pany will be held at the office of the Liquidator, Australasia
Chambers, Wellington, on Friday, the 13th day of May,
1910, at 3 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of receiving a state-
ment of transactions in the liquidation of the above-
mentioned company.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership which
has for some years past been carried on by WILLIAM
BROWN and WALTER LOUIS KERR, under the firm of “Brown
and Kerr,” at the City of Nelson, Motueka, Takaka, and
Collingwood, in the trade or business of Jewellers and
Watchmakers, was this day dissolved by mutual consent,
and that the business will in future be carried on by the
said Walter Louis Kerr in his own name.

All moneys owing to the late firm will be payable to the
said Walter Louis Kerr, and all moneys owing by the late
firm will be paid by the said Walter Louis Kerr.

As witness our hands, this second day of May, one thou-
sand nine hundred and ten.

SCHOOL FOR DEAF-MUTES, SUMNER, NEAR
CHRISTCHURCH.

Under the Control and Supervision of the Education
Department.

Director: MR. J. E. STEVENS.

FOR Deaf Children of sound intellect. The pupils are
taught to use and understand ordinary speech. The
full charge for board and education is £40 a year, but less
is accepted from parents who cannot afford to pay this
amount. In case of necessity admission is free.

By the Education Act, the education of deaf children
between the ages of 7 and 16 is made compulsory. A child
is, as a rule, best fitted to begin the school course at about
the age of 6, but advice should be obtained as soon as any
sign of deafness is observed.

The following classes of deaf children are admitted :—

  1. Children born deaf, or who have lost their hearing
    before learning to speak.
  2. Children who can hear a little, but are too deaf to
    be taught in an ordinary school.
  3. Children who have lost their hearing after having
    learned to speak.

Parents and other persons acquainted with such cases
above the age of 4 are invited to communicate with the
Director, or with
