LOCALITY AND DESCRIPTION.
Owhango is situated on the North Island Main Trunk Railway, 191 miles from Auckland and fifteen miles south of Taumarunui. The main Waimarino-Taumarunui Road passes through the town, and the Hikimutu, Kawatahi, and Oio No. 2 Roads converge upon it. The sections for the most part comprise flat land, some being part of a natural clearing. The remainder are covered with scrub and bush. The soil varies in quality from light pumiceous to sandy loam, partly on clay and partly on pumice subsoil.

LOCALITY AND DESCRIPTION.
Waitangi is situated on the North Island Main Trunk Railway, about seventy-four miles from Marton, and fourteen miles west from Waiouru, and eleven miles from Ohakune. The elevation is 2,282 ft. above sea-level. The sections are level, and are covered with tussock, flax, and native grass. The soil is pumice-grit, with a fair vegetable coating.

LOCALITY AND DESCRIPTION.
Rangataua is situated on the North Island Main Trunk Railway, about three miles south-east of Ohakune, and is eighty-two miles distant from Marton Junction and 198 miles from Wellington. The sections, which have been felled and burned, are all level; some are wet in parts. Block IV, excepting Section 5, has been partly burned, and is still in standing bush. A sawmill, stores, post and telegraph office, school, &c., have been erected in the vicinity.
