HIRST be a Committee to fix the remuneration to be paid to the Liquidator for his services in winding up the company, and to confer with and advise the said Liquidator as to the payment of the company’s debts so far as its assets will permit, and by distributing any balance of its assets there may be”—was unanimously passed, and such resolution was unanimously confirmed and carried as a special resolution at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the company, duly convened for the purpose, and held at the office of the company aforesaid on the 22nd day of February, 1910.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between the undersigned, CHARLES BLACKWOOD, GEORGE HARDY BLACKWOOD, and ALEXANDER BLACKWOOD, as Butchers, at Nos. 33 and 35 George Street, Dunedin, under the style of “Blackwood Bros.,” has been this day dissolved as regards Charles Blackwood, who has assigned his interest to the said George Hardy Blackwood and Alexander Blackwood, by whom the business will be carried on under the same style as before. All outstanding debts must be paid to the continuing partners, who will discharge all liabilities of the former partnership.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between FRANK WILLIAM CHESTERMAN and EDWARD CORNELIUS TOOHEY, trading as “Chesterman and Toohey,” Cycle Manufacturers and Agents, at Revell Street, Hokitika, is dissolved as from the date hereof, and that the said Edward Cornelius Toohey will in future carry on the business under the name of “Chesterman and Toohey.” All debts due to the firm are to be paid to the said Edward Cornelius Toohey, who will meet the liabilities of the said partnership.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, ARTHUR WILLIAM DRAPER and JOHN DICKINSON, carrying on business as Cricket-bat Makers at Mornington, near Dunedin, under the style or firm of “Draper and Co.,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the nineteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and ten.

All debts due to the late firm will be received by the said Arthur William Draper, who will continue to carry on the said business under the style or firm of “Draper and Co.”

AT a special meeting of shareholders of the WESTLAND BRICK AND TILE COMPANY (LIMITED), held at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, the 5th day of April, 1910, at the County Chambers, Hokitika, the following special resolution was duly passed:—

“That the Westland Brick and Tile Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily.”

A further resolution was also passed: “That Mr. RICHARD WILD be appointed Liquidator.”

A meeting of shareholders confirmed the above resolutions, at the same place and hour, on Thursday, 21st April, 1910.

In the matter of the Standing Orders of the General Assembly relating to Private Bills; and in the matter of a Private Estate Bill intituled “The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Wellington Empowering Act, 1910.”

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for leave to introduce the above-named Bill is to be presented to the General Assembly of New Zealand by the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Wellington in the next ensuing session of Parliament.

The objects of the Bill are,—

(1.) To vest in the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Wellington, his successors and assigns, (a) Lot M and part of Lot L of Suburban Section Number 76 on the Government plan of the Town of Napier; (b) Subdivisions Numbers 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of Suburban Section Number 77 on the said Government plan; (c) Subdivisions Numbers 18, 20, and 21 of the said Suburban Section Number 77
