I, THOMAS NOEL BRODRICK, Returning Officer for the election of a member of Hawke’s Bay Land Board, do hereby notify the result of the poll taken by me on the 5th day of April, 1910, in terms of regulations under “The Land Act, 1908,” to be as follows :—

“The Public Service Classification and Superannuation Amendment Act, 1909.”—Election of a Member of the Board by Police Department.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in conformity with the provisions of section 28, subsection (1), of “The Public Service Classification and Superannuation Amendment Act, 1909,” the Hon. the Minister of Justice has fixed that the first election of a member of the Public Service Superannuation Board by members of the Police Department shall be held on Tuesday, the 31st day of May, 1910.

Nominations will be closed on Thursday, the 12th day of May, 1910, at 5 o’clock p.m., and voting-lists will therefore be closed on that day (see Regulation 41).

The said election will be held on Tuesday, the 31st day of May, 1910, at the Public Service Superannuation Office, Government Buildings, Wellington.

The poll will be closed at 5 o’clock p.m.

NOTICE.—LACHLAN CHISHOLM WILSON, Esq., of Townsville, in the State of Queensland, a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of the State of Queensland, has this day been appointed by His Honour the Chief Justice a Commissioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in Queensland, under the 47th section of “The Judicature Act, 1908,” for the purpose of administering and taking all such oaths, affidavits, and affirmations as in the said section mentioned.
