Removing Restrictions against Alienation of Native Land.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of “The Maori Land Laws Amendment Act, 1903,” it is enacted that, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any Act, or in any Crown grant or other instrument of title, the Governor may, on the recommendation of the Board, remove any restriction on the alienation of land owned by Maoris: Provided that the decision of the Governor on any recommendation of the Board shall be given within six months from the date of the receipt of such recommendation:
And whereas the Aotea District Maori Land Board, by a recommendation made and passed by the said Board on the twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and ten, and received on the fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and ten, recommended the Governor to remove and revoke the restrictions against alienation contained in the instrument of title of the block of land particularised and set out in the Schedule hereto, so as to permit the same to be sold:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon and vested in me by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities me thereunto enabling, and in accordance with the recommendation of the Aotea District Maori Land Board aforesaid, do hereby remove and revoke the restrictions now existing against the alienation of the said land, so as to permit the same to be sold.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land, situate in the Belmont Survey District, containing 56 acres 1 rood 35 perches, more or less, known as Wairere No. 2A, and comprised in a partition order of the Native Land Court dated the 27th day of June, 1904, subject to the restriction that the land comprised therein shall be “inalienable, except with the consent of the Governor, by sale or mortgage, or by lease for a longer period than twenty-one years from the making of any such lease.”
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and ten.

Regulations under the Factories Act.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by “The Factories Act, 1908” (hereinafter called “the Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time make regulations for any purpose contemplated or required by the Act: And whereas it appears expedient to make the regulations hereinafter set forth:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Act, doth hereby make the regulations hereinafter set forth, and doth hereby declare that such regulations shall come into force as from the eighteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and ten. And it is hereby further declared that all regulations heretofore in force under the Act shall, as from the said last-mentioned date, be and the same are hereby revoked: Provided that the forms of notices and returns under the regulations hereby revoked may be used for the purposes of these regulations up to the thirtieth of June next.

REGULATIONS.

In these regulations the forms referred to shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto, or forms to the like effect.

The form of certificate of the appointment of an Inspector under the Act shall be that contained in the form F. 1A.

The application to the Inspector for registration under section 11 of the Act shall be in the form F. 2A, and the particulars to be specified with such application shall be in either of the forms F. 2B or F. 2C, as the Inspector may require.

The certificate of registration of a factory shall be in the form F. 2D, and the particulars to be entered in the register shall be such of the information contained in the forms F. 2 or F. 3 as may be required.

The application to the Inspector for the renewal of registration under sections 11 and 16 of the Act, and the particulars to be specified with such application, shall be in such of the forms F. 3A, F. 3B, or F. 3C as the Inspector may require.

The notice to be given to the Inspector under section 15 of the Act shall be in the form F. 4A.

The notice required to be exhibited in a factory under section 17 of the Act shall be in the form F. 5A.

The record to be kept by the occupier of a factory under sections 17 and 22 of the Act shall be in either of the forms F. 5B or F. 5C, at the option of the occupier.

The warrant for overtime under section 24 of the Act shall be in the form F. 6A.

The certificate of fitness under section 29 of the Act shall be in the form F. 7A.

The label to be affixed to garments or other articles as specified in section 30 of the Act shall be at least 2 in. square, made of cardboard, printed in type as follows, and filled in :—

Any person unlawfully removing or defacing this label will be prosecuted.
