Amending Order in Council fixing Dues for the Use of the Kawhia Wharf.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifth day of March, 1910.

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 107, of the twenty-second day of the same month, the dues and rates specified in the Schedule thereto were prescribed for the use of the Kawhia Wharf:
And whereas it is desirable that the said Order in Council should be amended, in so far as it relates to the wharfage dues therein specified, by the addition of a minimum charge:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the thirteenth section of "The Harbours Act, 1908," and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the said Order in Council of the twenty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nine, by inserting, after the words "all goods not herein specified, per ton, ls. 6d.," the following words: "Minimum charge on any one shipment or consignment, 3d."; and doth order that the said amendment shall have force and effect as from the first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and ten, inclusive.

Regulations prescribing Valuation Fees, and Scale of Costs and Fees, for Advances to Settlers.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by "The New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909" (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make
the following regulations with respect to valuation fees, and the costs and fees of preparing and completing mortgages, under Part II of the said Act.
REGULATIONS.

The valuation fees payable by the proposed borrower under Part II of the said Act shall be according to the following scale:-
SCALE OF VALUATION FEES TO BE PAID BY APPLICANT IN ANY EVENT, AND TO ACCOMPANY THE APPLICATION.
On application for loan not exceeding £100 . . 0 10 6
For loan exceeding £100 and not exceeding £250 .. 1 1 0
For loan exceeding £250 and not exceeding £500 . 1 11 6
For loan exceeding £500 and not exceeding £3,000 . 2 2 0 -
The costs and fees of preparing, completing, or discharging any mortgage under Part II of the said Act shall be payable according to the following scale:-
SCALE OF COSTS AND FEES FOR PREPARING MORTGAGE (TO BE DEDUCTED FROM THE ADVANCE).
Mortgages under "The Land Transfer Act, 1908."
Law-costs of perusing title, preparing, completing, and registering mortgage (to be deducted from the advance):-
If advance does not exceed £250 .. 0 7 6
Exceeding £250 but not exceeding £500 . 0 10 0
Exceeding £500 but not exceeding £750 . 0 15 0
Exceeding £750 but not exceeding £1,000 . 1 1 0
Exceeding £1,000 but not exceeding £1,500 . 1 6 0
Exceeding £1,500 but not exceeding £2,000 . 1 11 6
Exceeding £2,000 but not exceeding £3,000 . 1 17 6
With cash disbursements, which are the same in every case, namely :-
Search fee (with an additional 2s. for every certificate of title after the first) . . 0 2 0
Registration (with an additional 2s. for every certificate of title after the first) .. 0 10 0
Mortgages under "The Deeds Registration Act, 1908."
Law-costs of perusing title, preparing, completing, and registering mortgage (to be deducted from the advance):-
