Regulations as to Election of Local Committee of Management
of Waimate Hospital.
PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of February, 1910.
Present :
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by the Fifth Schedule to “The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909,” His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the regulations hereinafter set forth in respect to the election of members of the local committee of management for the Waimate Hospital.
REGULATIONS.

The members of the local committee of management for the Waimate Hospital to be elected by the electors of the County of Waimate and by the electors of the Borough of Waimate shall be elected in the manner provided by “The Local Elections and Polls Act, 1908,” for the election of members of the County and Borough Councils respectively.

The first elections of members shall be held on Wednesday, the sixteenth day of March, 1910, simultaneously with the election of representatives of the said county and borough to the South Canterbury Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, and the Returning Officers for the election of such representatives shall be the Returning Officers for the purposes hereof.

The voting-papers provided for the elections of members of the said committee of management shall be different in colour from those provided for the election of members of the Board.

The members so elected to the said committee of management shall hold office until the election of their successors, in accordance with the next succeeding regulation.

On every day appointed for holding the ordinary general election of members of the Waimate County Council and Waimate Borough Council respectively there shall be held an election of members to represent that county or borough, as the case may be, on the said committee of management, and the four last preceding regulations shall, mutatis mutandis, apply thereto.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by “The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909,” His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the regulations and provisions hereinafter set forth with respect to the constitution of Hospital and Charitable Aid Boards and the election of representatives of contributory local authorities thereon.
REGULATIONS.
- The contributory districts which are bracketed together in the second column of the Schedule hereto are hereby constituted combined districts for the purposes of the said Act.
