Education Board of the District of Auckland.—Election of Member to fill Extraordinary Vacancy.

IN accordance with section 24 of “The Education Act, 1908,” it is hereby notified that

DAVID BROWN WALLACE, Esq.,

has been duly elected a member of the North Ward of the Education Board of the District of Auckland to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Edmund Campbell Purdie, Esq.

The number of votes recorded for each candidate of the election was:—

Alfred Hall Skelton .. .. 239
David Brown Wallace .. .. 377

The total number of valid votes recorded was 962. The number rejected as informal 24.
