NOTE.—The weather during the month has been warm and sunny. Total bright sunshine, 263 hours 48 minutes. There were three sunless days. Earth temperatures during the month rose from 55° at 1 ft. and 3 ft. to 61° and 59° respectively, and the mean temperature at the former was 58·9° and 57·4° at the latter. Mean dew-point, 51·3°; mean elastic force of vapour, 0·378 inches; relative humidity, 76 per cent.
