And in further pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority aforesaid, and with the like advice and consent as aforesaid, His Excellency doth also determine that the place where the said duties of income-tax shall be payable shall be the office of the Commissioner of Taxes, at the Government Buildings, Wellington, and that notice to the foregoing effect shall be given by the said Commissioner accordingly.

Dividing the Western Taieri Land Drainage District into Five Subdivisions.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twelfth day of December, 1910.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by section seven of the Taieri Land Drainage Act, 1910 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby, for the purposes of the first election of members of the Board of Trustees thereof, divide the Western Taieri Land Drainage District, as constituted by the said Act, into five subdivisions, as described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
WEST TAIERI SUBDIVISION.
COMMENCING at the centre of the north-west end of the West Taieri traffic-bridge; then along the right bank of the Taieri River to the Mosgiel-Outram Railway; then south-westerly along the said railway to south-east corner of Section 1, Block I, Taieri Survey District; then along the road on the south-east side of Blocks I, II, and III to the south-west corner of Section 6, Block III, Taieri Survey District; then north-west along the road on the south-west side of said section to the main Berwick-Outram Road; then along the said road to Woodside Road at north-east corner of Section 1, Block IV, Taieri Survey District; then along Woodside Road to Woodside; then by Woodside-Outram Road to west boundary of River Section 38, Taieri Survey District; then along the western and northern boundaries of the said Section 38 to the north-east corner of the said section; and then in a straight line to the place of commencement (excluding Government railways): as the same is delineated on the map marked L. 7265, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
MOMONA SUBDIVISION.
Commencing at the point where the Mosgiel-Outram Railway crosses the Taieri River at south-east corner of River Section 29; then along the right bank of the Taieri River to the road forming the east boundary of Momona Settlement; then along the said road in a northerly direction to Section 45, Block III, Maungatua Survey District; then north-easterly along said road to opposite the eastern corner of Section 43, Block III, said survey district; then north-westerly along a road fronting Sections 35 and 36, Block III, Maungatua Survey District; then along the road fronting Sections 36 and 37, said block and district, to the south-east corner of Section 56, same block and district; then along road-line on south boundary of said Section 56, and the western boundaries of Sections 56, 57, 58, and 59, same block and district, to the road-line which is the south boundary of West Taieri Subdivision; then along the south boundary of the said West Taieri Subdivision to the place of commencement (excluding Government railways): as the same is delineated on the map marked L. 7265, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
SNOW SUBDIVISION.
Commencing at the intersection of the roads to the west of Section 12, Block III, Taieri Survey District; then along the western boundaries of West Taieri and Momona Subdivisions to the right bank of the Taieri River; then along the said right bank of that river to the south-west corner of Section 44, Block IV, Maungatua Survey District; then along boundary between Sections 43 and 44, Block IV, said survey district, as far as the south-east boundary of Section 38, said block and district; then south-westerly and north-westerly along the boundary of said Section 38; then north-westerly along boundaries between Sections 25, 20, and 7 on the one side, and Sections 24, 21, and 6 respectively on the other side, to Lee Creek; then across Lee Creek to the south-eastern boundary of Section 3, Block I, Maungatua Survey District; then north-westerly along the boundaries between Sections 3 and 4, said block and district; then south-westerly and north-westerly along boundary of Section 12, said block and district, to the Outram-Berwick Road; and then along the said road to the place of commencement (excluding Government railways): as the same is delineated on the map marked L. 7265, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
LEE CREEK SUBDIVISION.
Commencing at a point on the Outram-Berwick Road at the north-west corner of Section 12, Block I, Maungatua Survey District; then along the south-western boundary of Snow Subdivision to the right bank of the Taieri River; then along the right bank of that river to the south-western corner of Section 1, Block V, Maungatua Survey District; then north-westerly along the road forming the south-western boundary of Sections 1, 23, 24, 25, 26, 38, 27, and 34, Block V, Maungatua Survey District, to the southern corner of Section 8, Block II, Maungatua Survey District; then north-westerly along the boundary between Sections 8 and 10, Block II, Maungatua Survey District, to the Outram-Berwick Road; and then along the said Outram-Berwick Road to point of commencement (excluding Government railways): as the same is delineated on the map marked L. 7265, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
LAKES SUBDIVISION.
Commencing at the north-east corner of Section 10, Block II, Maungatua Survey District, on the Berwick-Outram Road; then south-easterly by Lee Creek Subdivision to the right bank of the Taieri River; then along the right bank of the Taieri River to its junction with the main outlet of Lakes Waihola and Waipori; then across said main outlet to the main south road; then along said main south road to and through the Township of Waihola to its south-western boundary, and by the said boundary to the shore of Lake Waihola; then along the south-eastern and north-western shores of Lake Waihola to the south-eastern corner of Block XVI, Waihola Survey District; then by the southern and western boundaries of the said block to the north-eastern corner of Block XVII; then along the northern boundary of the said block to its north-western corner; then in a south-westerly direction along the boundary of said block to the south-eastern corner of Section 5, Block VII, Clarendon District; then along south side of Section 5 to the road bounding that section; then along the said road to the Waipori River opposite the eastern corner of Section 2 of 22, Block II, Maungatua Survey District; then along the right bank of the Waipori River to a point immediately opposite the westernmost corner of Section 45, Block II, Maungatua Survey District; then across the Waipori River; then along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Section 45, the north-eastern boundary of Section 46, the north-western boundary of Sections 1 of 47 and 2 of 47, and the north-eastern boundary of Section 2 of 47 to and across main road Berwick to Outram; then along said Berwick-Outram Road to the place of commencement (excluding Government railways): as the same is delineated on the map marked L. 7265, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
