No. 28706.—1st December, 1909.†—WILHELM FREDERICK FLORESSELL, formerly of 191 Victoria Street, Darlinghurst, near Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, but now of “Enuk,” Milner Crescent, Woollstonecraft, near Sydney aforesaid, Civil Engineer. Improved calendar and advertising-block.
Extract from Specification.—According to my invention the block is made up of twelve sheets representing the calendar months, each having a minimum of thirty-one spaces for the days. Each daily space has its respective number or date printed on a comparatively small scale, and across or over same may be printed an advertisement or portion thereof, preferably in a different coloured ink. Each of the spaces or rows of spaces is then covered with a second sheet, or strips of paper or the like, bearing the corresponding date or dates on a larger scale, and is or are perforated so as to be readily detached. As the days of the month expire the corresponding space on the upper sheet or strip is torn off leaving the advertising or other matter on the sheet underneath exposed, the top or bottom number on a large scale always representing the existing date according as the calendar is arranged.
