Authorizing the Exchange of a Portion of a Reserve in Canterbury Land District for other Land.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of November, 1910.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereto forms part of a reserve heretofore duly set apart for a gravel-pit: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to exchange the said land for that described in the second column of the Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the twelfth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that the said land described in the first column of the Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the land described in the second column of the Schedule hereto.

All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 10 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve 2723, Block VI, Halswell Survey District, and bounded northward by Rural Section 36622, 190·2 links; eastward by Rural Section 1377x, 758 links; southward by part of Reserve 2723, 156 links; and westward by a road-line, 759 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5427/4, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink. All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 13 perches, more or less, being part of Rural Section 1377x, Block VI, Halswell Survey District, and bounded as follows: Northward by part of Rural Section 1377x, 100 links; eastward by Rural Section 1377, 1309·5 links; southward by a road-line, 108·8 links; and westward by Reserve 2723, 1352·5 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5427/4, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Vesting a Reserve in the Rangataua Town Hall Corporation.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of November, 1910.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved for a site for a mechanics’ institute and library:

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Rangataua Town Hall Corporation:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Rangataua Town Hall Corporation, in trust, for a site for a mechanics’ institute and library.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section No. 19, Block III, Town of Rangataua. Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 21, Block III, Town of Rangataua; towards the north-east by Nei Street; towards the south-east by Section No. 17 of said Block III; and towards the south-west by Section No. 18 of Block III aforesaid: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5222/3, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Vesting a Reserve in the Amuri County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of November, 1910.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved for river improvement and protection purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Amuri County Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Amuri County, in trust, for river improvement and protection purposes.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 3655, in red (Annan Settlement), Block IX, Waiau Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by the Waiau–Kaikoura Road; towards the north-east by the left bank of the Mason River; and towards the south-east and south-west by Lot 15 (Annan Settlement), Block IX, Waiau Survey District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 19291/224, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

Vesting Control of Reserves under the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of November, 1910.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by section five of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby vest the control of the reserves described in the Schedule hereto in the Minister of the Crown for the time being having the administration of the said Act, and doth hereby declare that the said reserves shall be administered under the said Act.
