Trustees for the Pokuru Public Cemetery appointed.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to have the control and management of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.


SCHEDULE.

Names of Trustees. Name of Public Cemetery, and Description of Land.
John Newton, Phillip Calder, Boy Campbell, Frank Stanwell, and Christopher Henson. POKURU. All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 1 rood 20 perches, more or less, being Section No. 10, Block V, Puniu Survey District, West Taupo County. Bounded towards the north-west by a public road; towards the south-east by Kakepuku No. 1c H Block; and towards the south-west by Section 11, Block V, Puniu Survey District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1600/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and ten.

Trustee for the Kaikoura Suburban Public Cemetery appointed.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

JOSEPH NICHOLAS POWER

to be a Trustee, in the place of Alexander Wighton Ingles, deceased, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Kaikoura Suburban Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the Rev. William McAra and William Smith, previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and ten.

Tauranga Stream and its Tributaries, Auckland Land District, notified under the Timber-floating Act, 1908.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the second section of the Timber-floating Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify that the undermentioned stream and its tributaries may be used under license for the purposes of the said Act.

TAURANGA Stream and its tributaries, situated in Whangaroa County.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and ten.

Opening National Endowment Land in Auckland Land District for Selection.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the national endowment land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Monday, the twenty-third day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at the rental mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said land shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Altitude, 100 ft. to 200 ft. above sea-level. Nearly all broken land; about 60 acres manuka and fern land, of which about 20 acres burnt; balance scrubby mixed forest with a few dry kauri-trees of no market value badly scorched by fire. Soil of inferior quality on clay subsoil; well watered. Distant six miles from Waipu by cart-road.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fourteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and ten.
