Act him thereto enabling, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting under the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, did, on the first day of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five, make certain rules and regulations (hereinafter called “the original regulations”) for the purpose of giving full effect to the provisions of Division II, Part II, of the said Act :
And whereas the original regulations were gazetted on the fourth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five: And whereas such regulations have been amended from time to time, and it is expedient to further amend such regulations in manner hereinafter appearing:
Now, therefore, in exercise of all and single the herein-before-recited powers, and of all other powers and authorities him enabling in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the original rules and regulations in manner appearing in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
Clause 5 of the original rules and regulations is hereby amended by omitting therefrom the words “and the names of the proprietors.”
Clause 8 of the original rules and regulations is hereby repealed, and the following substituted therefor :—
“In and by the aforesaid order of incorporation, or by any other or subsequent order, the Court shall direct a general meeting of proprietors to be held, at a time and place to be therein named, for the purpose of nominating a committee and fixing the number of its members.
“The time for the holding of such general meeting shall be not sooner than twenty-eight nor later than sixty-three days after the day of the making of the order.”
“Such meeting may be adjourned to any other time and place, either by the Judge making the order or by resolution of the proprietors assembled at such meeting.”

Order in Council fixing Date of Payment of Land-tax.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of November, 1909.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him under “The Land and Income Assessment Act, 1908,” and “The Land-tax and Income-tax Act, 1909,” His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and determine that the respective duties leviable under the said Acts by way of land-tax and of further graduated land-tax shall be paid in one sum on Tuesday, the thirtieth November, one thousand nine hundred and nine.
And in further pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority aforesaid, and with the like advice and consent as aforesaid, His Excellency doth also determine that the place where the said duties of land-tax shall be payable shall be the office of the Commissioner of Taxes, at the Government Buildings, at Wellington, and that notice to the foregoing effect shall be given by the said Commissioner accordingly.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
JOHN BENJAMIN JOHNSON and
JAMES BUCHANAN THOMAS
to be Trustees, in the place of Francis Pavitt and William Hetherington, to provide for the maintenance and care of Te Aroha Public Cemetery, in conjunction with James Lavery, Alexander Watson Edwards, Hugh Ross, Thomas McIndoe, Ralph Lake Somers, and Thomas Stanley, sen., previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and nine.

Notice of Intention to change the Purpose of a Portion of a Reserve in the Otago Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” it is, amongst other things, enacted that the Governor may declare his intention to change or alter the dedication of any public reserve now or hereafter vested in His Majesty or the Governor for any of the purposes named in Class II of the Second Schedule to the said Act, whether the same be granted or not; and if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expedient to change the purpose of such reserve or any part thereof from the purpose or presumed purpose for which it was set apart to any other purpose, the Governor may, by notice gazetted, declare his intention to make such change, and in such notice declare the manner and terms in which the same is intended to be so made:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” aforesaid, declare my intention to change the specific purpose of the portion of the reserve described in the second column of the Schedule hereto from that named in the first column of the said Schedule to that named in the third column of the said Schedule.

Permanently reserved for a resting-place for stock by Warrant published in New Zealand Gazette No. 78, of the 15th October, 1908.
