DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between JAMES GEORGE STEWART, of 306 St. Asaph Street, Christchurch, and the undersigned, JOSEPH REUBEN ROOTS, of 329A St. Asaph Street, Christchurch, carrying on business as Builders at Christchurch aforesaid, has been dissolved as from the date hereof.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1903”; and in the matter of the Banks Co-operative Meat-distribution Company (Limited).
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on the 30th day of January, 1909, presented to Mr. Justice Chapman, a Judge of the Supreme Court, by John Pascoe Perry, of Masterton, Sheep-farmer, a creditor of the said company; and the said petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court on the 16th day of February, 1909; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company under the above Act should appear at the time of the hearing, by himself or his counsel, for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same, by the undersigned, on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a duly convened extraordinary meeting of the company, held at the registered office of the company, Rattray Street, Dunedin, on the 6th day of January, 1909, the following special resolution was duly passed:—
“That the company be wound up voluntarily.”
And that at an extraordinary meeting of the company held at the office aforesaid on the 21st day of January, 1909, the foregoing resolution was duly confirmed as a special resolution.
And at the last-mentioned meeting WILLIAM MELVILLE KIRKCALDY, of Dunedin, Insurance Manager, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 33s. per annum, including postage, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertion.
Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 3 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed “Public a/c,” and exchange added.
Postage or duty stamps cannot be received in payment from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are issued.
Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to prevent delay in publication, a sufficient remittance should accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be returned with receipted account.

The Supplement will be issued free to subscribers to the Gazette, and to others on payment of a subscription of eleven shillings per annum, including postage, payable in advance to the Government Printer.
