more particularly delineated on the plan marked and
coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office
of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the
Wellington Provincial District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right

Commander of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight
Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under "The Public Works Act, 1908," for a certain public work, to wit, for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Te Oranga Home, Christchurch:
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law
to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such
land for the purpose hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and in pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by "The Public Works Act, 1908," and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the said Te Oranga Home.

A PROCLAMATION.
Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the lessees and licensees and mortgagees of the Crown land mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Hobson County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Maungaru and Mangakahia Survey Districts described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road described in the First Schedule hereto.
