Borough for raising a special loan of £7,000, repayable on
the 1st day of October, 1917, at a rate of 5 per centum per
annum and a sinking fund of 1 per centum per annum, for
the purpose of removing two 7 in. water-mains and replacing
same with one 15 in. main, for a distance, approximately,
of 1·72 miles, from Section 212, Tiritea, to Section 268,
Tiritea, which proposal has been duly advertised in a news-
paper circulating in the said borough, and that the votes
recorded for and against the said proposal were as follows:
For, 415 ; against, 185.

As in respect of the above proposal the number of valid
votes recorded in favour exceeded the number of valid votes
recorded against the same, we hereby declare the said pro-
posal carried.
